Bug fix 1.3.1 also includes landscape mode
Monday, November 10, 2008
Well, I was going to save it for 1.3.5, but it was done and I needed a bug fix release to fix the text-formatting bugs in 1.3, so y’all get it a week early.
I’ve been working to support landscape mode for a few months now, the hold up was the reference picker, which didn’t animate right, and the search details views, which had to be redesigned to fit in landscape. They both work now, well, almost. There are a few pixel-sized problems, but on the whole the interface works.
I also altered, again, how you get to create new folders, notemarks & send e-mails - but this time it’s easier. You still tap on the “Edit” button when viewing bookmarks, but now the title gets replaced by a “toolbar” with three icons: new folder, new notemark, and send-e-mail. This is the way it will should stay, and it will be easier to add a fourth icon if I ever add additional functionality...

Oh yeah, and it has search result summaries.. :-)
